Staying in Touch

Good evening everyone! Wanted to just jump in here and say hello. I've been busy this weekend working on jewelry pieces so haven't had a chance to work on a blog post. I will be adding some jewelry blogs on my page as well so watch for those. Here are a couple of things I did last night.

June Paper Pumpkin

Can we say WAY  behind schedule??!! I finally sat down to play with June's Paper Pumpkin. What I affectionately call, "Fun in a Box!" This awesome fun in a box comes monthly to my mailbox and is a complete surprise. They are soooo cool!
In this box you get a stamp set, paper, ink, adhesive dots, dimensionals, stickers, envelopes, and liners for the envelopes. The only thing I had to pull from my work table was an acrylic block and my Snail Adhesive for a little gluing of the flower and leaves.

You also get a copy of instructions to help guide you in assembling your project. June's Paper Pumpkin included supplies for 2 different styles of cards with the supplies I mentioned above.

I put this card together using the instructions included in the box. I like to challenge myself to come up with my own designs using just the supplies included. I will be doing that later next week. Hopefully before my July Paper Pumpkin gets here. LOL  My goal is to blog about the Paper Pumpkin the day it hits my mailbox. (Wish me luck!) LOL
Ok, now down to business/fun.
Step 1. Place the stickers on the white square that is included and stamp the sentiment.

Step 2. Stamp the card base, adhere the white circle, leaves, and 20 inches of twine on the back of the flower and adhere the white square to the stamped base with dimensionals. Use the glue dots to adhere the button to the middle of the flower.

Step 3: Slide the liner into the envelope and stamp the envelope.
AND the final product!

If you would like to receive your own "Fun in a Box" each month in your mailbox contact me or visit my Stampin' Up website and subscribe to Paper Pumpkin. It costs $19.95 a month and includes shipping.

Welcome!

Welcome to Papercrafting Magic! I hope to make this site a fun filled inspiring place to visit and unwind. I am a full time teacher and I'm a Stampin' Up demonstrator so when I get to teach someone else how to craft I am in 7th Heaven!

Blog Launch

Welcome to my blog! I have actually had this blog for awhile, but alas life got in the way.  In the days coming up I will be designing cards to post here along with materials and directions on how to complete them for yourself. I hope you find something here to inspire you. Eventually I will be adding videos, but I've decided to do this in baby steps. Have a wonderful day!
